Northeastern Vietnam Cycling and Bay Cruise

Spend the day exploring the Ba Be area by bicycle on a surveyed route. Ride village roads and enjoy lake-and-mountain scenery, with support stops for water, rest and lunch. The actual distance reflects the group’s fitness and surface conditions. Return to the same accommodation, check the bicycles and relax after the day’s activity.

Travel from Ba Be to Cao Bang using a combination of cycling and vehicle transfers. Riding sections are chosen for their scenery and traffic levels, with rest stops and lunch along the way. Support transport is available if guests need to reduce the distance or the weather changes. Check in at Cao Bang and rest after this active transfer day.

Head towards Ban Gioc, riding selected rural roads and using the support vehicle to complete the transfer. Allow time to visit the waterfall area under your booked programme and pause for the scheduled meals. At the end of the day, settle into your accommodation near Ban Gioc, have dinner and prepare for the onward journey towards Lang Son.

Leave Ban Gioc and continue towards Lang Son with cycling sections linked by vehicle transfers. Your guide selects the appropriate roads for the day, allowing stops for scenery, water and lunch. Busier traffic sections are covered in the support vehicle. Check in during the late afternoon and enjoy time to relax in Lang Son.

Travel from Lang Son to Ha Long, combining surveyed cycling sections with longer vehicle connections. Timely arrival at the accommodation takes priority, so the riding distance is agreed in advance according to road conditions and group endurance. Stop for lunch during the journey, then check in to your land-based accommodation in Ha Long for the night.

After several days of cycling, switch to a more relaxed pace aboard your cruise. Transfer to the harbour, settle into your cabin and begin the journey through the bay. Excursions follow the selected vessel’s programme, with the option to rest on deck when you prefer less activity. Meals and the overnight stay follow the confirmed cruise package.

Complete the morning cruise activities, enjoy the scheduled meal and check out of your cabin. Meet your driver at the harbour and travel back to Hanoi. Your northeastern cycling and bay journey ends at the agreed location. No compulsory cycling stage is added today, allowing time to organise luggage and finish the journey comfortably.
